Virginie wants to live in a world filled with innovative inspiring businesses, 300 page books that come with extra dark chocolate and double shots of espresso.
She was born and raised in Cannes, France. A highly motivated mom, wife, ex manager and now small business owner, with more than 20 years of experience in hospitality and Retail. Working in exclusive hotels, restaurants and kitchens while attending small private Art Schools. Graduating in 1989 with a bachelor in Fashion Design and a Master in Fine Art. she's worked alongside world class Chefs like Roger Verge, of " Le Moulin De Mougin ".
She left Europe in her twenties, with a bag full of traditional French Training, and moved to San Francisco with a head full of dreams.
After a small break from the industry, she turned to retail, working for Chanel,Macy's, and a small clothing design company where she learn to be a vendor at many summer festivals, street fairs, and farmers market, while raising her daughter. With these new found skills in the fashion industry, she returned to restaurant management once again before relocating to Washington State with her husband, daughter and the family dogs. She opened her own boutique in Central Washington and filled the store with everything from French antiques and clothing to repurposed architectural salvage. After several years of owning her business in Ellensburg, she closed it and followed her husband to Seattle. Almost immediately after arriving in Seattle, Virginie had the chance to help launch a new and highly successful startup restaurant in the competitive Seattle Market. Working her way into a managment position, leaving after a year to focus on her new venture Misfits.
